Update 7/26/10: I love getting feedback, but lately the amount of traffic has increased to way more than I can handle. I wish I could answer all of your questions, but I just don't have the resources right now to keep on top of them.
For specific neigbhorhood questions, I recommend talking to a realtor who specializes in that area. I am working on compiling a list of realtors for different areas of town. For the question "Is Austin right for me?" I say YES! to everyone. For all other questions, I recommend going to this forum about Austin and asking the group.
