Congratulations on moving to Austin! You're here! How do you like it?

I imagine you're a little stressed with getting settled in and unpacking. I remember how frustrating it was to have to find all the services I needed.

Some things you just can't pick out of the phone book. The following are great contacts I've made, and maybe they'll help you too.

my recs for austin service providers:

Dentist	Dr. Charles Snow makes me feel like a tooth-brushing superstar every time I go, even though I kind of suck at it. The best dentist I've ever had. I've recommended him to all of my friends. Call him at (512) 458-3237.
OB/GYN	We women know we can't just pick this one out of a phone book. I go to Dr. Oliver at Women Partners in Health and have been really happy with the whole practice. (512) 459-8082. I've written more about it on my blog.
General Doctors	Check out Austin Regional Clinic, they have offices everywhere and good hours. They are usually covered by most insurances.
Pediatrician	Again, try Austin Regional Clinic. Check out my blog post with more information.
Haircuts	Both my husband and I go to Birds Barbershop and love it. You can walk in and get a stylish haircut for $39 and under. Sometimes they give you beer too. They have multiple locations around town. (512) 442-8800
